In the game of phase 10......

Question

I am playing with 1 other person. We are both on phase 4...(making one run of 7) and we have both maxed out each others phases. Like we both have 1-12 on each others side so we can't play phases anymore. How do we go out?? We just keep drawing 1 and discarding 1 so we stay with the same amount of cards. How do we go out?

not to be rude, but this is impossible. u each start with 10 cards, so it's impossible for both of you to have played 12 cards. i would suggest rereading the rules and make sure that you are playing correctly.

Maxed out each other's phases?

What does that mean?

Are you sure you read the directions right? you should just be working on your current phase (run of 7) and all other cards get returned to the deck. You should not be holding on to cards from phase 1, 2, or 3 if you are working on phase 4. Nor shoud you be holding each other's phases. There should be plenty of cards in the draw pile to keep playing.
