  1. no

  2. just don't touch the net

  3. Yes but only to block an attack by the other team.  The ball must have been struck by the other team first so that it would go over the net.  It can be the other team's first, second, or third hit.  As previously stated you cannot touch the net or reach over to interfere with a ball that was not on its way over the net.

  4. only to hit the ball, but if you touch the net it's the other team's ball. hope i helped! :D

  5. no and don't touch the net

  6. No, if you do its the other teams point and ball. Your not aloud to go underneath the net either.

  7. No, i don't think so because the ball would probably be on the other teams side so they could still hit the ball.

  8. as far i know , yes, as long as one does not touch the net.

  9. Except on a serve, you can reach over the net as long as you do not touch the net. It's common to reach over the net on a block.

  10. You're never allowed to reach over the net and you're never allowed to touch the net either.

  11. no you are not...unless the ball is in the act of coming over the net on the third hit.

The ref. could call you for roofing for reaching over. Sometimes they are really strict, other times they let it fly.  IT just depends on what type of refs you get.

  12. when ur blocking you dont actually go over the net, so it is absolutly never ohkay to go under or over the net. the will stop the play and give the other team the point. that happened just tofday at my volleyball tournament,

  13. Only if you don't interfere with play on the other side.

  14. no you are not

  15. You can as long as the opponents are sending the ball towards the net, at least in the ref's line of sight.....for example...lets say the setter on the opposing team sets up a play but the ball wavers towards the net in the refs line of site, you are allowed to reach over to block it down or stuff it..again as others mentioned..DO NOT TOUCH the net in any way

  16. As long as you don't touch the ball or interfere with any of the play thats going on. Otherwise it's called breaking the plain of the net.

  17. From the official USA Volleyball rule book...

    11.1 REACHING BEYOND THE NET

11.1.1 In blocking, a blocker may touch the ball beyond

the net, provided that he/she does not interfere with

the opponents’ play before or during the latter’s

    attack hit.

11.1.2 After an attack hit, a player is permitted to pass his/her

hand beyond the net, provided that the contact has been

made within his/her own playing space.

USAV 11.1.2: A player is not permitted to pass hand(s)

beyond the net inside the antennas and contact the ball

    over the opponent’s court.

  18. No. Unless you are jousting (the ball is somewhat right above the net).

You can't just jump and stuff a set from the setter (that is if you can even reach that far lol)

Obviously, if you are blocking and your hands go a little bit over, there's not going to be a call, but if it is too far over, then the play will be stopped.
