  1. As the card states, you may move ONE of your pawns forward exactly seven squares OR you may split the seven squares between TWO of your pawns. Either way, you must move the entire seven squares.

If you split your move, you must move one pawn as far as you wish to move it, then you move the second pawn the remainder of the seven squares. You cannot move the first pawn, then move the second pawn, then go back to the first pawn and move it some more.

You may also not move the first pawn in such a way that you cannot finish your seven squares with the second pawn. For example, if you only need to move a pawn two squares to get it to the HOME space, but you have no other pawn available that can move the remaining five squares, then you cannot make that move.

If there is no way for you to move two of your pawns a total of seven squares, then you cannot split your move. You must move one of your pawns seven squares instead. If you cannot move a single pawn seven squares and you cannot split your movement either, then you cannot move at all, and your turn is over. - LJS

  2. The pawns have to be of the same color, even if you are playing two different colors. No you can not move an opponets piece other than to switch places with it by using an 11.

  3. They have to be different numbers. They can be either just one pawn or split between ONLY 2 pawns

  4. They have to be different.  7 is an odd number.  But then, I think you knew that.
