In the history of mankind, approximately how many people have lived and died?

It would be interesting to speculate that of the whole mass of humanity, how many(%) died of natural deaths? Versus by wars? And diseases? I.e., is it possible to interpolate from this data whether humanity is progressing away from violence and unnatural death or toward it?

203 billion people have lived and died over the past 60,000 years to the point in time where we are at today. It took 34,000 years for civilization to reach 1 million people and after 53,000 years or roughly 5,000 years ago there were 1 billion people on Earth.
