  1. As you have probably heard, many experts say one should consume eight 8-ounce glasses of water each day. Although this is a good estimate, the actual amount of water your body needs varies depending on the individual. Here are three aspects you should consider when figuring out how much water you should drink on a daily basis.

    1. Your weight.

    2. Physical activity (running, working out, or any activity).

    3. The climate you live in.

Starting off with weight, it’s obvious that the more you weigh, the more water you should consume. Studies have shown that by drinking 50 to 75 percent of your body weight in ounces is an accurate amount. If you do not consider yourself an active person, then 50 percent would be more in your range. For example, if you weigh 120 pounds, you should drink at least 60 ounces of water each day. However, if you work out daily or you are involved in other activities then you should drink more towards 75 percent of your body weight. You will need more water to keep your body hydrated. Although it is important to keep your body hydrated while you are exercising, it is also important to drink a full glass after you work out. Also keep in mind how much you sweat. Obviously the more you sweat, the more water your body is releasing. If this is the case, make sure to drink enough so you will not become dehydrated. Weather conditions you live in should also be taken into consideration. If you live in a hot or dry climate then you should drink an additional 16 ounces everyday. It is always important to remember these three things when determining the amount of water you should to drink daily.

In order to give your body the nutrients it needs it is essential to ensure you drink enough water each day. Drinking it all at once is not necessarily a good idea though.

  2. its normal.

  3. coz you are not releasing more liquid from your body, i mean sweat

  4. acutely that is healthy

  5. It's the side-effect of the coke, which contains the caffeine that causes the full/quenched feeling. Coffee will do the same. Plus you probably don't sweat very much at your job.

  6. your body is getting water from the foods you eat. This is gross but, check out your pee. If it's bright yellow, you need more water. Clearer is better. Water helps your body run efficiently and you need at least 8 glasses a day.

  7. or lack of movement

do you work in a a/c office all day

if you don't sweet you don't lose body fluids that fast

so you probably haven't lost enough fluids which need replenishing

  8. You should be fine

  9. The side effects are dehydration

and a poor stomach if you're not going to wash away your food with some liquids to help digest!

Just because you havn't drank in a while doesn't necessarily mean your body is always going to be thirsty.

Make sure you are carrying a healthy diet, and its also a good idea to drink lots of water a day!

  10. it is fine as long as you do not get dehydrated. if you do not sweat you do not need much water.

  11. There is one negative side effect from having a lack of fluids (specifically water):  dehydration!

My rule of thumb is this:  for every cup/or can of a caffeinated beverage, I drink twice the amount of water.  As long as you are drinking a fair share of water, you will be fine.

Also, you probably should factor in your height, weight and physical activity...if all three of these are lower, then you should be okay drinking less water.  As always, if you feel in your gut that something is wrong, visit a doctor, because I am not one.

    I hoped this helped...good luck!

  12. i only drink one or two cups of water everyday

  13. It is not your thrust but the system needs water

  14. I'm similar but I'm extremely active, I run a lot, but normally I drink maybe twice a day, 3-4 if I'm dehyderated, and I only pee like 1-2 times a day, and I'm pretty healthy.

  15. If you are sitting at a desk, you don't sweat or expire that much water. Besides, a large portion of water comes from the large bowel, which takes the water out of food and liquids you had over 18 hours ago. Unless you are really sweating a lot or eating high salt foods, you may not be thirsty for a while.

Much of your food contains water, and you get a good amount from solid food.

  16. maybe you are a cactus!
