Absolutely, and so should football clubs, tv broadcasters, and all those who, by worshipping the great God money, ensure that in the UK football is pretty much the only televised sport. What I love most about the Olympic coverage is the opportunity to watch a vast array of other sports like sailing, hockey, trampolining etc.

The whole football culture has got totally and utterly out of hand and is disgusting, especially when you realise how many other great sportsmen we have competing.

what about the overindulgent basketball players? True athletes stay in the olympic village-a dorm type atmosphere. USA b-ball stay at a swanky 5 star hotel with room service and multiple amenities.

nope, and they never will. They just want their ÃƒÂ‚Ã‚Â£40k+ per week salaries.

The proof of their lack of interest can be seen when they don an England shirt. No big salary, No interest!

I for one am so happy we don't put a team in the Olympics!!!!!!
