In the marine corps if doing a b billot does your mos change?

what i'm asking is if i'm up for reenlistment and there is a bonus what mos would i be using for my bonus?

  1. When working a B Billet post, your MOS does change.  However, your MOS prior to taking on the B Billet position still holds true.  For example, when I was in, I was an 0311.  I took Drill Instructor duty as a B Billet when I reenlisted.  A reenlistment bonus is given to everyone that reenlists.  Reenlistment bonus are not based on MOS.

    Career mulitpliers is MOS specific.  Reason being they are trying retain people in that MOS.

  2. Your basic MOS - 0300 - will never change.

    Your bonus would be based on the MOS you're assigned to prior to reenlistment date or EOS date.
