    your basic ground pounder.


  2. If you're talking about a Rifleman, you mean 0311.  

    The MOS numbers describe what you do.  Kind of like an abbreviation.  The first two numbers (03) are the field & the second numbers (11) are the specific job.

    03 - Infantry

    11 - Basic rifleman.

    Others are 03...

    31 - Machine gunner

    41 - Mortarman

    51 - Anti-Tanks
