In the match between Delhi and Chennai, why was Dhoni declared the Man of the Match. Isnt it surprising?

True, that Chennai won the match. Dhoni scored 33 runs in the particular match. Flemming scored 44 runs in 28 balls. Moreover, Dhoni didnt take any catch in that particular match as well. And he doesnt bowl as well. Wasnt Flemming a better choice?

  1. I think they were confused with the names of Gony and Dhoni.

    I think they were going to give the MOM award to Gony then suddenly the name of Dhoni slipped out of their tongue. LOL.

    Gony really deserved to be the Man Of the Match as he took the wicket of dangerous Sehwag early in the innings and proved to be a turning point in the last over by hitting a six and a four.

  12. This is really suprising. I think they would have given man of the match to fleming or to morkel who scored 30 on just 15 and took two wickets.
