In the military and need to get out of a car lease?

In the military and am being stationed in Hawaii from Massachusetts. I have a car leased and don't know if i can get out of it? Can someone help please?

  1. Talk to the legal office.  There are clauses for military personnel for leases/rent.  Thanks for serving!


  2. Talk to your judge advocate.  The Soldiers' and Sailors' Civil Relief Act may apply to your situation.

  3. you have to talk to the law office.  They'll help you out a great deal.

  4. There is a clause in your contract that will help you get out of it.  you can get out of tons of contracts, like cell phones, cable, internet.  All you usually need is a copy of your orders that you are leaving.  I'm married to the military and we pay close attention to those details.  We've had to get out of a few contracts already!  Just call the company let them know you are in the military, you have orders to prove it, fax them a copy of orders and you should be good to go.  They aren't going to let you take the car with anyways with most leases.  Good Luck!
