  1. depends what service and what mos

  2. Depends on the needs of your service.

MOS is highly important as well because lots are required to report to a station overseas

  3. Does your contract state which base you will be stationed at? If not, you are placed at the needs of the military. They could place you anywhere.

  4. Depends, are you going Active Duty, Reserve, Army, Navy, Marines, National Guard, USCG, where do you live (At least what State?) What MOS, a whole bunch of variables, so as an example, let's say you are going Active Navy, and your Rate is Yeoman,  AND you live in Norfolk, Va... no guarantees, but the chances are better with that, than if you are attempting to become a Marine, Active Duty, any MOS, and live in Montana. ANG is a whole different issue, as you normally enlist to a local Armory, for whatever MOS they have, and need.

  5. honestly 10% im 20 hours from home right now but getting away isnt so bad sometimes

  6. ultimately, you go where you are sent.  don't enlist thinking you can get stationed at home..the chances are pretty low.
