In the movie "Cellular" how does the character Ryan get Jason Statham's cell phone number? ?

Jason Statham answers and says to Ryan "How did you get this number" Ryan says, "My phone logs the last 50 incoming calls" but when did Jason Statham ever call Ryan's phone in the movie ?!?!? I have watched the movie 5 times and still don't see any part where they would have called each other prior to this ?!?!? What am I missing?? Thank you so much!!!!!

My guess is Jessica Martin was using  Jason Statham's phone or at least those two knew each other.
