In the naruto series... why did th 4th hokage seal the nine tail in naruto, and not in the death god

just a guess here.  but maybe so that one day the village could use the power of the nine tailed fox to its own advantage. because when naruto got older, he would be able to use the fox's chakra  to defend the village with.

Because he can´t seal it in the death god, and it is like he says to use the Power, to defend the vailage .

i believe because jiraiya told him naruto is the chosen child. plus he is his son. who doesn't want their kid strong!?

the fourth wanted naruto to use the power to protect the village. that is why he gave Jaraiya the key to the kyuubi's cage. eventually, naruto will make full use of the power.

All of the villages wanted a Bijuu for there own so they would stand a chance against other villages. The Kyuubi (9 nine tails if you don't know the japanese names) was sealed into Naruto by his dad (though he doesn't know it yet) because he wanted it to be in someone strong that he knew would one day be able to control it. They didn't know that using the Bijuu's powers would eventually cause the human to lose control and release the Bijuu on the world again. Naruto so far can only control himself up to 3 tails on the demon fox's cloak. 4 and up are destructive to Naruto and can kill him and cause him to die and release the Bijuu if he stays in them too long. 4 tails and up he has no control. Captain Yamato (lab experiment by Orochimaru with DNA from the 1st Hokage which allows him to suppress the Bijuu's power if they're wearing the necklace that Tsunade gave to Naruto) can seal the power back into Naruto and give him control again if the Bijuu gets the 4th tail open. When Naruto first gets the 4th tail it nearly kills Jiraiya its so powerful. He did it again in front of Yamato and he had to suppress it, before he could though Naruto hurt Sakura with his massive amounts of chakra because he had no control over himself. Naruto found out what he did afterwards and has refused to ever use the Bijuu's power again. He is now currently (manga) studying to become more powerful than Jiraiya by Jiraiya's master so he won't have to use the Bijuu's power when he is fighting difficult opponents. So far thats as far as it goes, I purposely left out of parts in between by the way so I wouldn't ruin the story for you if you watch the english versions.
