  1. believe me. its not becauseof the chlorine.they want to warm up their muscle so tthatthey wont get muscle cramp or anything.the temp of the water n the air is different.

  2. To warm up their muscles from the temperature change after being in the warm water and back out into the cooler air.

  3. they need to keep their muscles warm from all the contortion the perform

  4. cuz chlorine sucks.

  5. It's a fresh-water shower.  They're washing off the chlorine.

  6. The REAL truth is that the swimmers need to keep their muscles warm, especially if they are competing in another event. The temperature difference between the water and air can cause muscles to tighten. The water is about 80 degrees and the air is about 70 degrees.

  7. The correct answer is , to keep their muscles from tightening up ,because the water temp. is set at 80 and the air temp. inside the arena is between 65-75. That is why , when they jump out of te pool they get under a hot shower then walk strait over to the hot-tub till their next dive
