In the olympics Why do the men wear shirts and the women wear bikinis?

The same reason females wear minis in figure skating, one pieces in gymnastics, short shorts in indoor volleyball, even shorter shorts in music videos.  It's a man's world and women subject themselves to these things.

isnt that what most women wear at the beach?... and im sure the women playing don't mind wearing them.  Probably feels a lot better anyways.

I don't know why the men wear shirts, but I certainly wouldn't want to see them in bikinis.

Well, I am not to sure why men where shirts and shorts, but I am glad that they don't wear speedos or something like that. Also, some men don't wear shirts, just shorts, the olympics require shirts with their country name on it though.

Women have to wear bikini's because, 1) It is a requirement. and 2) It makes it harder for them or their clothing to touch the net, which would make the other team get a point.
