In the phrase "...over my uncles house" is uncle capitalized?

  1. no, it wouldn't. uncle is a noun, but it doesn't say your uncle's name, so it isn't capitalized. =)


  2. No. I'm pretty sure it would only be capitalized if you were using it as a name, for example "over Uncle Joe's house." but if it's just "over my uncle's house" then no, but you do need an apostrophe in uncle's because it's his house it's possesive. Hope that helps.
