  1.    This was a case where a woman wanted an abortion but the father of the fetus wanted her to carry it to term.  So they ended up in court, where it was decided that women have the right to decide what happens to their bodies.  It set the precedent so that women today can have an abortion.  For those who think this created the whole abortion issue, you're wrong.  Abortions had been going on in back alleys for decades.  Overturning this law would not stop abortions.  It would stop safe abortions done by qualified medical professionsals in a sterile environment.  So if you want medical school failures performing abortions on kitchen tables, then by all means, fight to overturn Roe vs. Wade.  We really need our hospitals filled with hemorhaging women with massive infections.  That is such a good use of our tax dollars.  You don't need to agree with abortions to support qualified medical care for all.
