  1. There are potato farms in southern Idaho, but the majority of them are in eastern Idaho, near Pocatello and Idaho Falls.  As far as the northern most potato farm, I'm not sure.

    Sara C can't spell potato.  And she's lived in Idaho for the past 20 years?  Yeah, right!


  2. The vast majority of them are in the southern part of the state in the snake river basin.

    IIRC, I have seen some small potato farms (probably not commercial agribusiness) within 25 miles north of CoeurD'Alene.

    I'm sure there is at least one small plot of potatoes somewhere near the Canadian border.  I've seen plenty of farm plots just south of Priest Lake.

  3. I live outside the Nez Perce reservation and there is a potota farm that is there.  It's Claim to fame is it the Norhtern Most REAL potato farm in Idaho.   The climate is not good for farming in Northern Idaho.
