What they can do if they take you to court and get a judgment is attach bank accounts and file liens on any other property you may own like cars, boats, land and homes.

If the loan company takes you to small claims court and gets a judgement for the amount still owed, yes they can at that point garnish your wages. Until they get a judgement, they wont be able to garnish your paycheck

they got the car back and your credit is crummy.  they aren't also going to go after more money unless you want the car back and are prepared to pay penalties etc.
