  1. There are no laws at a statute level in any state that govern minor guardianship.  HOWEVER, if you are on parole or probation, you need to be VERY clear on what restrictions those programs impose on you.  If your felony was a violent crime, especially domestic related, there may also be life long protection orders in place.  If you are on probation or parole, check with your PO.  If you are not, check with either the DA, or the attorney who represented you in the case.


  2. If the person is a relative such as Mother/Father or older sibling and they have guardianship there should be no problem. The only thing your convicted felon can not do is vote, or what ever is on parole/probation orders, check with your CFS if you are still unsure.

  3. That would make no sense. What if your dad is a convicted felon, does that mean he would have to move out.
