  1. Clomid:  Brand name for clomiphene citrate -- a fertility drug that is used to stimulate ovulation in women who do not ovulate on their own, or do so very infrequently.

PCOS: Polycystic ovarian syndrome -- a hormonal disorder that can cause women to be infertile.  Rather than ovulating each cycle, the egg is not released, and numerous cysts form in the ovaries -- hence the name. PCOS can also cause other problems -- insulin resistance leading to obesity, increased risk of diabetes, etc. (Not all women with PCOS are infertile, but most are.)

  2. clomid is a form of medication that helps a woman ovulate due to infertility, etc..

pcos aka Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is a health problem that can affect a woman's hormone levels, periods, and ovulation.

  3. clomid is a drug that induces ovulation

pcos is polycysitc ovarian disease.  google it its a bit complicated. it causes some woman to be inferitile and need to use the clomid to ovulate and get pregnant.
