  1. I thought it was the best ending anyone could ever expect; I mean, isn't this the ending almost everyone wanted: for her and Edward to love each other forever and ever? I thought it was great -- it wasn't too slow or anything -- and it was just a perfect ending. Either way, fans would be upset, whether Bella chose Edward or Jacob (But I'm really happy she chose Edward and Jacob still got his happily ever after too). Also, I never expected the twist when Bella had the baby! It was great, but the name... she could have chosen a better name. It was a great book and definitely worth the anticipation and syching myself up for it. Great series!

    Can't wait for 11-21-08!!

  2. I honestly felt like the first three chapters - where they get married and such - were really really good and reminded me of the other three books.

After that, it just went downhill. Bella and Edward having a baby? That makes no sense. Especially, if you don't mind me being frank, a man has to have blood flowing through him to even get an erection. So how is it possible that she got pregnant?

The chapters by Jacob WERE thoughtful, and I think were in general better then Bella's, but his ending was just as dumb as everyone else's. After three books of pining for Bella, feeling like he wanted to kill himself, everything like that, he simply just imprints on her daughter. How convenient? They all get to live happily ever after.

I know everyone wanted that. A happily ever after, but did it have to be so improbable?

Then, it starts getting interesting again at the end, with the Volturi, but everything is settled without any furthering of the plot.

Stephenie Meyer even knows how fans have reacted, and instead of admitting that she should have spent more time on the book, she says it's our fault by saying "They just have to learn to accept the last book, just like they had to accept Robert Pattinson as Edward."

Um, hello? How is that the same thing at all? Someone portraying a fictional character versus ruining an entire series for many many people.

Everyone was so out of character. But that's just my opinion. I mean, after Bella turns into a vampire you can't relate to her at all anymore. It's sad. She was a really great person, too.

  3. i agree with you! i absolutely LOVE Breaking Dawn! it was kinda out of the twilight universe outline, but i like it anyway because it took me by surprise! a ot of BD haters are just mad because the story didnt go the way they wanted it to, but the people who like Breaking Dawn are the TRUE TWILIGHTERS because we support ALL of the books and ALL of Stephenie meyer's work! i love breaking dawn! i cant wait for the twilight movie to come out!!!! :)

  4. The baby was really stupid. Like really, it pissed me off when Bella was pregnant with it, it reminded me of a crazy person. Like come on, the baby was ripping her apart and she's like "No! I love my precious child" Gah. And Renesmee Carlie? Stupid name. Plus the baby was really anything even after it was born. I had problems adapting from the changing to mutant hideous baby to this sweet angelic thing.

Overall i LOVED the ending. I loved how he got to look into her mind but he couldn't hold it for long because he wanted to kiss her. so cute!

I loved the honeymoon part, and for some reason i liked how he gave her bruises the first time. It was sweet, because he just wanted her so much.

I also really like Jacob's chapters. They were hilarious, especially the chapter titles. So funny. And i liked reading into the packs' minds. Seth made me laugh everytime he spoke. I'm not going to lie I was rooting for Leah/Jacob there for a bit...

When his "book" ended though, with the little monologue about Renesmee, i'm so stupid that i didnt get it.

I only realized he imprinted on her when Bella went down to see her the first time... which is like 50 pages later!!

    Whoa, i like ranted here.

Hope you enjoyed reading all this lmfao.

  5. I thought it was great. The whole Jacob as a shape shifter totally ripped off of Sirius Black (from Harry Potter). The name of the baby a little weird, but I totally get the fighting for the child to live, Bella knew that Edward would "save" her before it was too late. I gained a new respect for Jacob, but it weird that he was so in love with Bella and imprinted on her daughter, go figure. I think it was a great story about family and friendship and who can't use a sappy Happy ending every once in awhile. Two thumbs way up!
