dont you think that the cullens should had been the valedictorian! because they had perfect grades! not eirc! i mean maybe he did have good grades but not like the cullens!

Yeah, that is strange.... Maybe it's because of the school they missed during sunny weather and the days they missed hunting. I think you need perfect attendance to be valedictorian.

oh yah, i would bet its becuase of the school they missed... the same thing happened to me for the fake grade 8 valedictorien thing last year... i missed 6 weeks of school for vacations and the band trip. so i didn`t get it even though my grades were better.

I had a question exactly like this, and the answers made sense, since Edward and his family missed a lot of school, he was gone for half the semester, and when he was there he still went for his "hiking" trips, they must have given it to Eric. Or then again, maybe he was offered the award, but rejected it.

that confused me too. but remember, the cullens missed alot of school for hunting. maybe eric had a perfect attendance.
