In the uk is there anyway of getting dole money if you resign?

i had to resign from my job. it was just horrible..and they wanted to get rid of me but have no job to go to!

If they made life so bad for you that you had no choice but resign that might constitute constructive dismissal and could be unlawful.  In that case the Employment Tribunal could make an award of compensation to you.  Go and find your local Citizen's Advice Bureau and talk to them about what rights you have.
