why dont we use recyclable brown papers bags rather than plastic??? makes more sense they do it in alot of other countries

your best bet would be to carry your own canvas or cloth bag more sturdy than a paper bag and yes a paper bag rips easily when over filled and does not do well in wet conditions

Brown paper bags aren't very weatherproof in this dreary country, you wouldn't want to be walking down the high street when a sudden downpour causes all your shopping to fall through your soggy brown bag and roll down the street.
