In the united states is the driving age increasing?

im 15 1/2..going to be 16 in 6 monthes...usually i would be getting my permit then but ive heard they were thinking of raising the driving age....are they?

Maybe some states are.  I don't know.  I haven't heard of any though.

The federal government does not control the driving age.  Each indvidual state makes its own rules for driving ages.  So no, the age is not going up nationally.

I have heard of no proposed legislation to raise the driving age nationally.
