  1. Angels 3-1

angels have only lost three series this whole year.

i could be wrong, but its close to that.

i wouldn't count on the angels losing more than one game

  2. I am an Angels fan, but I think there is an adjustment period with Texiera. The Angels did very well without him yesterday, also without Kotchman. Yanks are hot right now, I think they will split or the Angels take three. The Angels have always played tough against the Yanks, and yes, A-Rod owns the Angels, but LAA is a complete team.

  3. 0 because the angels have the pitching hitting and fielding and will sweep them

  4. They might sneak a win but very doubtful the Angels seem like they could win the rest of the games this season. But everyone has a bad game so I think the Yanks will win 1.

  5. I see a split. The Yankees kinda woke up last night vs. the O's (took long enough) and they should be ready for LAA this weekend.

I'd like to see the Yanks take 3 of 4, but the Angels are clicking right now.

  6. I would love to see the Yankees get swept. Hopefully that will lead to them fading out of the AL east race as well as the wild card race, nothing would make me happier than a playoffs without the Yankees.

  7. Somewhere between 0 and 4. Same thing for the Angels.

  8. It is difficult to come into Yankee stadium as a visiting team and take a four game series from them.  With that being said, the Angels have, by far, the best road record in MLB at 35-19 and they now have Teixeira.  I look for a split with both teams winning two games but if the series goes 3-1 or 4-0 I believe the Angels come out on top because of their solid pitching.

  9. Well, look at this way:

Weaver, Santana, and Lackey always own the Yankees and the Angels bullpen has the winningest closer in baseball right now, as well as one of the best set-up men (Scot Shields), so you do the rest.

  10. A sweep would be nice, but they'll be lucky to split.  They always seem to have trouble with the Angels.

  11. There is no way that the Angels can sweep the Yankees.  The Yankees have their share of flaws but they've got both great pitching and hitting.  I say the Yankees will take 2 or 3 out of 4.

  12. goose egg

  13. As a Yankee fan I would love to see a sweep but just like when the Yankees played the Red Sox, people were asking same type question & I always look at this way, take one game at a time & I hope for the best but will be happy if Yankees split or take 3 out of 4 or even 1 game

  14. I'm a Yankee fan and would like to see a sweep but, I doubt it so I see them taking 2, maybe even three. You can't forget that this Yankees team also has pitching. Their starters have been excellent and so has the bullpen. Angels new addition Teixiera is a new threat in their lineup so they have to watch out for the middle of the order. I seriously think they can take 2 out 4. I am a loyal yankee fan. Alex Rodriguez owns the Angels.

  15. It is going to be a good series, but Angels win 3

  16. Maybe one. The most they'll win is two. They are just way outmatched by the Angels.

  17. 0-1 maybe

  18. if they play like they did against Boston, then they can split 4 with the Angels

if the team that has been taking the field against the Orioles shows up, we could see a 4-game sweep, which might potentially knock the Yanks back to square-1

    the mathcups are

    Petitte vs Garland

    Ponson vs Santana

    Mussina vs Weaver

    Rasner vs Lackey

its tough to say now but i think the series splits 2-2
