In the video game WWE 2008 what happened to the wrestlers like Bobby Lashley,Gregory Helms, and Chris Masters?

I was playing the video game SMACKDOWN vs. RAW 2008 and there were tons of characters that aren't really wrestlers now. So I was wondering what happened to people like chris masters,bobby lashley, and gregory helms,did they retire or take a short break from WWE? I've only watched WWE for a year so i don't know what happened to them, so if anyone can help thanks.

Bobby-Released. He didn't wan't to leave but had to beyond his control.

Masters-Released due to fail drug test.

Gregory Helms-Injured with a neck proble. Should be back in October my guess.

Gregory Helms has been out for over a year due to a neck injury.

Lashley is gone, now doing MMA. Masters was fired after failing a drug test. Helms is recoverign from major neck surgery.

Bobby Lashley left the WWE earlier this year due to differences over the future of his character, lack of communication while he was out with an injury, & over the firing of his since pregnant girlfriend ex-WWE Diva Krystal Marshall (she was released because she did not want to participate in an love triangle scenario with Edge). Alica Fox has since been brought in & replaced Krystal in that role.

Gregory Helms has been out with a neck injury for quite some time now. I guess they simply chose not to include him on their roster. He is expected to return to the WWE soon (unless he is released during the reported WWE roster cuts this week).

Chris Masters was released from the WWE due to numerous WWE Wellness Policy violations. Hence the reason he would not be in any future WWE game rosters.
