  1. You're on the correct path..1st, leave the equalist out of this. Don't try to make this complex. Look, it's elementary ; fems consider any masculist to be sexist. Given that, it only follows that a feminist is just a misguided term that MUST adhere to the same definition for the opposite gender ; i.e. sexist.

  2. Actually feminists are equalists. They advocate equality but not equity.

Difference being equity is fair and impartial treatment which has numerous possible outcomes which can be simply seen as equal or unequal.

Advocating equality however means you essentially reject equity since the outcome itself defines equality. Therefore you MUST pursue a 50-50 outcome irrespective of the methods employed if you are an equalist. It may not be fair to, but they believe it is necessary.

Example: first wave feminism wanted equity since equal rights is fair and impartial right? Second wave saw that this didn't lead to an equal outcome since you cannot manipulate equity to produce a more desirable outcome so they had to reject it and pursue equality. THAT was sexist

  3. Actually, you're correct.

Feminism is s*x-based and s*x-biased so it is incompatible with equalism.

  4. They're the same thing, except for extremists in the feminist movement.

Feminists believe in equal rights for men and women.

"Equalist" sounds stupid anyway, and is not a real word :P

  5. feminist woman are the same as very sexist men,if they had of been born men they would be the worst kind of man possible

  6. Incorrect. I'm both, as well as a masculinist. Why should you have to choose when each movement wants the same thing?

  7. I cant be a feminist and an equalist? I don't understand. it is sexist to not want equality. I am a feminist, not a sexist. this applies across the globe not just in the western world.

  8. Well, it depends on the specific views of the feminist. I would say yes based on most feminists that I know. They want to have paid the same amount but still treated like women, you can't have your cake and eat it.
