  1. It's better than nothing! I use them and they perk me up a bit just don't over do it!

  2. First and foremost you should understand that tanning (especially with in a tanning booth) not only can but will damage your skin.

The best treatment for SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) is a special light, though there are also medications and other treatments available.  I get pretty SAD in the winter and tanning does seem to work for me, but I always try to remember those extra side effects.

  3. no, a tanning booth will do significant damage to your skin, light therapy needs to be delivered with a light box, one that is set to the proper frequency.

  4. Definitely NOT!!! See S.A.D., in section 2, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris Avoid tanning salons: they have been shown to cause an increased rate of melanoma (skin cancer). At www.mercola.com use the searchbar: light therapy, S.A.D., etc.

  5. Tanning bed always makes me feel great afterwards!
