Wasn't McCain a part of congress creating these "tough times for America"? Wasn't the exact same GOP thinking that caused thee so-called "tough times"?

  1. In 2006, the Democrats took control of the House and Senate.

In 2006, the price of gasoline skyrocketed as the price of crude went up.

In 2006, the housing market fell through the floor.

In 2006, the US dollar heightened it's downward trend against the Euro that has been happening since 1999.

I suppose that is all coincidence, right?

  2. Why...yes...yes he was. That is why everyone should vote Obama/Biden.

  3. the guy above me is correct... the economy went way south in 06.... but the dem congress didn't actually get sworn in until Jan. 07... BWHAAHAHAHAHA... HAHAHHAAHA

so, yes... he supported Bush's failed policies and the failed policies of the congress as a whole...

he has experience, but poor judgment...

Obama has little experience, but I doubt his judgment could be any worse... so I'll take that chance...

experience passing horrible bills, isn't the kind of experience I'm looking for...

  4. Obama's acceptance speech recognized the central problem - the need to restore middle-class faith in the future. McCain shows little sign he grasps the seriousness of the issue, or would abandon Republican policies that created an American wealth gap unknown since the 1920s. Maybe that's because he defines middle class as someone making less than $5 million a year.

  5. Actually it probably had more to do with the Democrats and the Media trying desperately to get people to believe it.  Just like anything else if you say it long enough people will begin to believe it whether it is true or not.  Then if becomes a self fulfilling prophesy.  Frankly the only thing really wrong with our economy as a whole is high gas prices.  That is what is cutting into the amount of disposable income for the average American.  And who is responsible for that?  Well I hate to burst your bubble, but it isn't the Republicans, it is the Democrats who have blocked every attempt to produce more oil domestically as well as build refineries, nuclear energy plants and even wind farms.  So if you aren't allowed to develop energy sources what is going to happen?  The cost of the energy supply that is already available is going to increase.
