modern maria clara, yes. if you're looking for the traditional maria clara, i don't think that would still be fine at present. she will be taken advantage of by a lot of mean people.

modern maria claras still have their values intact but are not hypocrites. they are independent yet loving. responsible and mature. she has a successful career as a mother, housewife, entreprenuer or office woman. she can be whatever she wants to be but never forgets where she came from.

This needs investigation into the events that rather became a sensation in my hometown,  about the sightings of a lady in white, running from the parish house before the break of dawn.

If the ghost in question bore a child, and turns out to be a baby girl, then that baby must be the ideal candidate.

yes. only they are not like the one described by Rizal in his Noli. they never cover their mouth when they laugh. i think they never wanted to cover anything. they wear modern clothes with belly buttons exposed and the garters of their Tbacks and thongs dangling at the back. in spite of this modernization, they still have that demure and fragile traits any man would want in a woman. my gf is an example but there are times she act more like Sisa.

yeah..i still see some but very rare.it's a little bit irritating though.they cover their mouths when they laugh, when in fact they also want to guffaw..hayyy.
