In this case I think less is more?

What happens when simplicity

Only leads to complexity

And the one road that follows

Is a dim coat of plea’s

A plea to former life,

To simpler days

To new found ways

And keys of change

Years don’t come back

When you call

So get off your mountain top

And stop asking for more

Im not sure if I should add to it, please critique :)

  1. I liked it.  It was good but the last stanza was kind of off.

  2. There is beauty in simplicity dear one. Remember haiku. I would you a different word than plea, It reads strange, but that's just my opinion. Cheers.

  3. The first stanza is good. The rest is superfluous

  4. My favorite part of your poem is this:

    What happens when simplicity

    Only leads to complexity

And the one road that follows

Is a dim coat of plea’s

That could of been all and it would have been great!  The rest could use some polish  or maybe a little different wording, I hope this helps!! Cheers!!

  5. meih...ok, nothing to special, continue if you want might be able to make something out of it....sorry, it's my opinion

  6. I dont like the last stanza as well. i also dont like the two rhymeing words in the second stanza. It sounds weird that they are the only two rhyming words.

Good luck with it though. And Good Job.

  7. I didn't like the last stanza, but the rest was good.

  8. Well in this case I think your right, well done, and well written.
