In today's world what does Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness mean to you?

it has become the right to work for a big employer with massivbe unpaid overtime, hoping for their approval

in other words, to a large degree, it has been lost

To me it means the right to marry another woman if I wanted to.

it means to persevere and resist todays system of government. pursue these dreams in the face of our masters just as our forefathers persevered in the face of thier oppressors.

but in my reality its

get a job and don't get arrested

Life, means living, liberty means freedom, and pursuit of happiness means having fun with your life. But clearly I have none of those (ha ha?)

realize that it is in jeopardy if you don't have health insurance, and a shot gun for home invasions.

Liberty

Realize that you get to pay taxes, and are conditioned  to expect no benefit from them. Taxation without representation. You are free to vote for people who lie to you.

Pursuit of Happiness,

That's on you.

Whatever you can scrape together to feel secure, protected prepared for the aging process.  More power to you because  it' all on you.
