  1. The third lap is almost always the slowest for people.  Try to go out a little slower, and keep the same pace.  Speed up if possible on the third lap, because you will slow down.  Adrenaline should carry you through the last lap.

  2. what is your mile time.........EDIT  ok well the easiest way to increase your mile time is running more than a mile everyday..like 5 miles

  3. the 3rd lap is always the hardest and everyone slows down on it.  if you feel like you're going the same speed on the 3rd lap as you were the first 2, then you've slowed down. you need to feel like you're speeding up. put in a lot of mileage because it strengthens your body and helps with endurance.

  4. if u want to be an endurance runner then u should run every day the same pace but run at that pace for as long as you can.Dont stop at a mile go for your best.My sckool has the milers run a mile in less than 6:15 during practice but they run the mile 5 times during practice rite after the other. They barley rest.Well i hope this helps.

  5. Mileage is the key to improving you times. Try to work yourself up to 4 to 6 miles a day for the mile at an even pace. Don't stop. It will increase your stamina greatly.

    Good luck!
