In transformers the comic book series, what are the names of the autobots?

I've seen the movie and then I heard that there was a comic book series, can anyone tell me the names of all the autobots in a list? or could you direct me to a web site that is very good at explaining everything? also could you tell me what each of the series of the comic books are called? if you can answer only one that's ok, I will be happy for any information.

The Transformers existed as a line of toys, an animated cartoon from the 80s, and then a Marvel Comics series. They did not originate from the comics, though.

Over the years there have been many new versions of both the comics and the cartoons, and there have been hundreds of characters.

Your best bet is to read the wikipedia article for a summary of the franchise. Here it is, as well as a list of the Autobots and Decepticons.
