  1. It depends upon where you are.   The first amendment right prohibiting congress from making any law that impinge on the right of free speech or free printed expression does not stop lawmakers from barring the use of words that are considered "fighting words".  Moreover local communities can define obscenity and pornography in accordance with their local standards.   The F word is a word that literally means "intercourse" but is more commonly used

as an expression of aggression, for example

"F" You!  That can be construed as an attempt to

incite violence and so some law enforcement especially in a conservative community might arrest you for disorderly conduct for wearing that.

Moreover, private property owners such as store

owners can decide they do not want customers

wearing that on their property and ask you to leave.   In the event that you refuse, you are now guilty of criminal trespass in most jurisdictions.

Of course, if you are a student in school, you could and almost universally would get suspended

for wearing this kind of gear (although I once saw

a student wear,in an inner city school, a shirt that

said Don't ask me for S-(the f***s cuss word)

If you live in a large Northern city, you probably would not get into trouble with most law enforcement.   If you are in a quiet suburban area

with numerous churchgoers, senior citizens, and conservatives with little crime where traffic laws are enforced with tickets for 27 mph in a 25 zone law enforcement is likely to ask you to remove such a shirt and arrest you for failure to obey a police officer if you do not comply.   Enforcement is also likelier to be tougher in the American Southeast, states such as South Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennesee, and Mississippi

  2. it depends on where you wore it...

    at school??? your job???

above all though - itll make you look really really cool.

  3. I see lots of shirts with cuss words on them and I haven't seen anyone get into trouble yet.  I would imagine that the most trouble you could get into would be from all the people you come into contact with.  I wouldn't wear a shirt with the F word on it in church or you'd probably get a lot of mean looks or a bunch of people showing up at your door trying to "save" you.  I would just be careful where I wore it so as to not be offensive.  Even though it may be legal, it still isn't cool to go out in public and flaunt the fact at the expense of others.

  4. Depends on where you are when you were wearing it. Myself, I find it to be childish. Something only a 13 year old would want to wear.

  5. There is no Freedom of Speech law, only a general right subject to exceptions in terms of time, place and manner restrictions.

Even if it's legal, expect to get heat for that shirt.

  6. Fugg em if they can't take a joke!!!

  7. Where did you get into trouble?  It makes a difference.  No one can arrest you for wearing an offensive t-shirt, but you can be escorted from a building.

  8. What is the F world?

  9. It's protected by the 1st ammendment, unless someone claims it is obscene and takes you to the supreme court.

  10. And yes, in some juridictions you could be arrested for disorderly conduct if others find your shirt obscene or offensive.
