  1. wow is for free???????????????????????/

  2. I'm not sure, usually at the end of 60 minutes they say how much it cost well they used to. The DIY SOS team seem to be alot more professional though.

  3. I think the show Makers pay for the Makeovers in exchange for the whole thing to be filmed for Television.

  4. no its free and adds value to your house. typical capitalism the rich get richer and those in the council houses get nowt.

  5. The company making the programme pays.

  6. It all depends on the programme. Usually not, but there are exceptions, particularly in day-time TV when production budgets will not always stretch to the full cost.

Consider the "finish" between a daytime and prime-time make-over show

  7. I don't think so, because the people taking part, can't normally afford to do it themselves, so they contact the programmes for help. x

  8. No, just the money to fix it after they have left, have you seen the mess? Oh and by the way 60 min make over, no they are there all day, they may only work on putting things into the house for an hour. On some programs yes

  9. No money changes hands however if you really look at the standard of the decorating the householder will have to redo the whole thing properly. I watched one where they painted over wallpaper and it started to peel off the walls. The furniture is always of a high standard though.

  10. dont thinks so , there was a family on diy sos not so long back that had to stop work cause they ran out of money then they called the team in

  11. I hope not. I'd want a refund if they installed all that cheapo tatty rubbish in my house.

  12. I would say the television company definitely pays for it

  13. The producers pay it
