  1. It means that they are destined to be together when Renesmee has grown and is fully mature. It is like love at first sight, but Jacob does not think of her romantically right now, -it's more of an instinct or realization that she is meant to be with him one day. Until then, Jacob's only concern is to watch over her and keep her safe.

  2. As explained in Eclipse, once the boys turn into wolves, they have the ability to imprint, or say "fall in love at first sight." Sam thinks that it happens because that's who is most compatible for you to carry out the line with. (Vampire and werewolf?) Sometimes, like in Quil's and Jacob's case, their affection isn't romantic. (for the time being). It's to be a brother, a lover, a friend, anything that she wants him to be. It's like soul mates. So Jacob loves Renesmee like a beloved little sister or daughter, even, for the time being. That's how strong his affection for her is.

  3. sort of like he couldnt have bella and the closest thing was her daughter so he sort puts sort of a spell on her, so its like love at first sight, but i think so because he wants renesmee when shes older to like him,

by the way if i was edward i would have killed him, especially by now
