In two wheelers why do we have rear break on the left lever and front break on the right lever...always?

  1. Not all the two wheelers.

    Only non-geared scooters & scooterettes have the brake levers as you mentioned.

    Still If you need to alternate as per your taste left for right, it is quite simple to change either, no hard & fast rule.

  3. Same reason hot water is on the left.  So you'll know which one is which.

  4. Because more people are right handed and know not to hit the front brakes first, just an opinion.....

    But since more people are right handed it would make since to have the rear brakes on the right side.......

  5. You mean a bike. Though two-wheelers can include mobikes/scooters also which have a clutch on the left gear, not left brake.
