  1. Yes. He was out of line for doing what he did and he knew better. At least he had enough honor left to walk out the door standing on his own two feet.

  2. Yes, considering the way he's tried to bring the "Bush" agenda along with him and attack countries that don't agree with his old (current?) boss..

  3. Absolutely.....  The World Bank is already losing credibility...  with this scandal dragging on for so long....  his departure will restore some much needed credibility...

  4. Yes, it's not just the pay raise for the girlfriend, it's also his inability to lead the World Bank. Most of the Europeans hated him for his arrogance, his hypocritical campaign to combat "corruption", his inability to compromise, and his apparent agenda to undermine the very mission of the bank.

  5. I think that when a big figure of is personally challenged for probable misconduct in his duty, and if he believes that the investigation maybe necessary to establish the truth, and that remaining at his position would not facilitate the investigation, the best thing to do is to honorably resign. Suspicions on Wolfowitz are very serious and his girlfriend he is being accused for having made some favor to her did not make things easier. That is, resigning is a good decision for Wolfowitz.

  6. He is the one of the main architects of the attack the US made on Iraq and so however he can be ousted from any important office is fine with me. I just hope he doesnt get another appointment from the administration.

  7. The only thing different with him and others i HE got Caught

  8. Ohhh the irony the irony!

So here's a guy who learned politics from his boss. Never hire competent people to positions of importance just your friends and people who will lie cheat and still to prtotect you.

I guess he's learned they do things a little different across the pond. Good for them.

  9. Good riddance.
