  1. Not only would I not swear an oath of allegiance to the Queen, but I would not want my children to either. Roll on  The Republic

  2. yes it is specially for the newcomer's if you live here you should show allegiance not neccicary to her Madge but to GB  sorry UK

  3. I bet she don't give a **** about you, get a constitution and don't elect d**k Cheney to anything!.

  4. Beats doing it to a flag.

  5. well  years  and  years  ago   in  land  called  Great  Britain  and  you  immigrated  to  this  country  if  you  wanted  to  become  British   it  was  standard  procedure   ..and  wasn't  easy  ..don't  know  when  that  stopped ......., so , ......if  after  few  years  trying  out  and  you  liked  the  country and  wanted  to  become  BRITISH  why  not  .....and  its  Queen  and  COUNTRY  everything  has  a  price ....... ...except  for  brainwash   swearing  allegiance  with kids  in  school  that  don't  agree  with  that  absolutely  not  ....and  not  necessary  when  did  GB become  UK  ...mmmm..just  wondered

  6. I for one would not swear allengence to an 80 year old woman whom I did not elect. I have no connection with the Queen at all.

I would find it hard to swear allegance to a flag which does not have Wales on it.

I no not have any love for God Save The Queen, forget the Queen, what about the 60 million of us.

I do though think we need to take more pride in our nation, but not like this.,

  7. You mean if you are new to the country?

I'm not much of a Royalist, but I think people should pledge allegance to the country & learn about it's basic history in order to live here, like they do in the USA.

  8. No,I don't think those childish pledges serve any purpose whatsoever.I have no doubts as to  where my loyalties lie and i don't have to "dib dib dib,dob dob dob"every morning to prove it.

  9. not for me because i am not a royalist?

  10. Absolutely not!

  11. 'The Queen' is the head of state... apparently divinely appointed.  (just ask the Queen)

This makes it absolutely necessary for 'Her Majesty' to conduct her governance in accordance with God's love and grace.  If 'Her Majesty' does not govern well... then 'Her Majesty' wasn't majestic after all... was 'she'?

Therefore... if ye do pledge thy loyalty to 'Her Majesty' then ye doth invoke the protection of the Almighty lest 'Her Majesty' prove that 'she' be not fit to be Queen.

In times when our elected government fails us we may call upon 'Her Majesty' to dissolve the rotten buggers parliament and re-establish good governance... hence, support of the Queen could never imply rebellion... could it?

    God save the Queen

  12. I see no point in it.

Just because someone recites an oath, parrot fashion, doesn't mean that they have grasped the meaning of what they are reciting & it doesn't mean they will necessarily abide by the rules & laws of the country.

Americans swear their allegiance to the flag etc. but how many of them really listen to or understand what it really means or really think about it as they say it?

  13. To be perfectly honest Whats the point? How is that going to stop bad behaviour and crimes being commited! I don't think that this has been thought out very well to be honest. It isnt goign to make anyone any more respectful. I also dont think that the national anthem should be changed. again whats the point!!!!!!!

this government needs a kick up the jaxxy!

  14. some of the ethnic minority are h**l bent on destroying our culture, they would sooner burn the union flag and the queen for that matter.

  15. Its barmy Hahaha, I've heard it all now. Yeah lets all mouth these words together now! But what people really think is up to them isn't it. How do you know they are sincere?
