  1. well how can you expect us common guys to answer this question of yours...maybe i'll be able to tell you this after 5-6 yrs when i would get a seat in Ferrari,Mclaren...or better ask Ferrari or better Max Mosely you can get hold of him when hes heading to the court for the hearing of his s*x scandal...well i dont think so any measures as such may have been taken...the rules are there and they are the biggest measures and what happened to McLaren last year and the no 22 written on Lewis's car shows the measures...which are good at their place...

  2. I can comment on the security precautions taken in the Renault road-car division design department (no details, sorry...still bound by my confidentiality agreement for some areas); computers used directly for design work are not connected to the internet, only to the local intranet. Design files have a tag to prevent them being sent to a computer which does not have the relevant acceptance code, it's easier to stick something made of paper in your bag than it is to send a protected file out over the internet.

There are airport-style physical checks at the visitors' entry and exit points: metal detectors, bag X-rays, badge in/out system. Also you have to switch off your mobile phone if you don't have a company-provided one; if it has a camera on it you aren't allowed to take it in at all.

It's not directly the answer to your question, but it will give you an idea. The F1 part of the operation MUST be a lot more secure than this.
