  1. A bad set is normally called a lift and it is when your fingertips slide and the palm of your hands touch the ball and you push up......... The referee can determine this by looking and seeing this happen. I hope i helped you.....Bye Bye

  2. A double. it's were you set the ball at different times, but in one quick motion. i thinks that's the most common.

  3. a "bad" set is when an illegal touch occurs during the set, this includes but is not limited to the hands touching at seperate times and the palms touching the ball.

  4. The Ref will usually call a double if the set has spin on it because that means that the setter's hands touched the ball twice.

  5. You cant hesitate in the set it must be a smooth fluid clean move or the ref will say that you tossed the ball up instead of hitting it. (you cant make it look as if you caught the ball and threw it in the air)

  6. a bad set is when the ball has to much spin on it, when u carry it- basically when u hold it to long.

When a setter sets the ball its supose to look like the ball is floating on air - not to much spin

Im a volleyball player so i know, plus im a setter
