  1. It plays back row defense and can go in and out any time in the game and doesn't  count as a sub. But they cant go in after the serve wistle.

  2. she only plays back row. she can sub in and out whenever she wants and it doesn't count as a sub and i think its libero

  3. the libro constantly stays in the back row the entire game.

recently they have changed the rules that allow the libro to serve once.

  4. Only plays back row

goes in whenever coach needs them to go in

    *can't serve tho

  5. The libro plays the back row. a libro will (usually) enter the court after the person they switch with stops serving, or when the coach tells them to go in.  they switch back with the person when they reach the front row.

  6. tara lee.. i believe libro don't serve. libro are the defensive players of the game(most of them are small).. libro supports the players in the back row. and they are the one who keeps the ball away from the ground.

  7. that person only plays the back row and goes for all of the shots and stuff....

  8. The libro is the main back player. They are the best at digging and passing the ball to the target zone. When it is the libro's turn to rotate to the front, they are subbed out with a middle hitter. The libro can serve, but on my team she doesn't.

  9. librois an experience back row player. she/he can come in and go out whenever, only to play back row. they don't need to call a sub. they cannot serve and they cannot play the front row. They can't spike front row, only back row. They can go in for whoever as many times as they want. The person who starts out as libro is libro for the whole set, and cannot trade with someone else.

  10. The libro stays in the back row and gets all the balls in the back row.  Plus they NEVER go to the front row.

  11. the libero..she/he plays back row and back row only..not allowed in front row..doesn't have to substitute and all that c**p, just run in run out..she/he can run in for any back row player anytime any rotation..put in brief..

  12. defensive specialist. goes into the back row, and only the back row for people are hving troubles passsing.  they really have to hustle and be able to know their players to know who is agressive and who would rather have someone else take the ball.  the libero is a really good passer and digger. hope that helps.

  13. The libero is one of the most important players b/c she or he plays the back row and they pass it up for the setter to set to the hitter and get an awesome kill!! In some places the libero can serve but not in all. The libero can sub in when ever she wants.

  14. In general, the libro (or libero) is a defensive player who specializes in passing and digging.  From a technical standpoint, the idea of the libero is to add control to a team's defense throughout the game.  The libero can come in for any back row player at any point in the game, but can only serve in women's college volleyball and sometimes club or high school games.  The libero transfer is not considered a substitution, though the libero must come in and out of the game for the same players throughout the match (as normal subs must.), hence the name "libero" or "free."

From a volleyball standpoint, the libero is generally viewed as the defensive general on the court, playing a similar role on defense as the setter would play on offense.  It is typically though unofficially the libero's duty to run down freeballs and shanked passes, and to cover holes in a block to reduce the number of the opposing team's uncontested kills.  Liberos are generally, though not necessarily, smaller than a typical volleyball player, as they are not needed to play in the front row.

  15. The libero is a specialist defensive player that can replace any other player in the back row. They are not offically subbed in, as they can just walk on the court whenever. They must wear a contrasting jersey, compared to the rest of the team, so they are easily identifyable to the ref. They may not serve, or hit above the net.

  16. well im a libaro...all u do is play back row...and serve

  17. they're mainly just a defensive player.  they don't serve or attack.  mostly, it's just passing, digging, and possible assisting.

  18. defense
