Sometimes when your opponent spikes a ball you automatically catch it or receive it with your foot. Do you think this is allowed if you followed the national rules of volleball?

  4. yes its possible

  5. yes if it touches any part and bounces back it's still a live ball.

  6. Can. And your opponents can do it too.

  7. yeah that's allowed

  8. no. if the ball is caught, it is called as a hold, and the other team gets the ball. i'm not sure about the foot thing though -- if it touches the ground, the other team gets a point .. but i don't know what happens if you use your feet -- i've played volleyball for 4 years and this ahs never happened -- sorry!

  9. You can't pass it with your foot unless you are playing by international rules! But in regular playing rules you can have it land on your foot and bounce up!

  10. surely ....but may be refree whiltles .... lol

  11. It's allowed, usually your have to have some good reflexes after a spike and with your foot, depending on how the ball lands, you can send it to the stands. It's almost a lucky move if you can recover with your feet.

  12. yesh u can.. any time in the game.. as long as one leg is on the ground..

  13. You can never "catch" the ball, but in most levels of volleyball, you can contact the ball with any part of your body (including the foot).

The only level that does not allow this is High School.  In HS volleyball, you can't contact the ball with any part of the body below the waist.
