You don't have to bc spandex has liners so you dont need to wear them.  If you do wear them make sure they are thin so they don't bunch up and have bad lines.  Whatever u feel most comfy with.

Yeah because if you don't that is really gross. I just wear a thong.

i guess it depends who u are...lol but are uniform shorts are spandex and i just where a thong...u get use to em'...

our team does have spandex shorts and those teams that do are the reason guys are always calling volleyball players hoes and s****s

some people don't, some wear slingshots (thongs), i personally wear boy shorts..the ones from v. secret are super thin and barely shows your underwear line, its awesome..
