  1. well technically the ball can hit whatever you want it to but if you hit the net its an out, same if you hit the line.

  2. yes the ball can touch the net & yes anytime the ball hits the line it is still in..that is of course if the line judge knows what they are doing...

  3. NO

  4. It depends what school you go to. At our school yes it can touch the top as long as it goes over on the other side. If you mean like after you serve it, i am not quite sure what you mean, but i think that depends on what school you are at too. But most of the time if the ball touches the line it is in.

  5. As long it goes over it yes it's fine.

  6. yes. when you serve, if the ball hits the net and goes over it is still good. and yes, if it hits the line it is still considered in.

  7. The answer is yes at every level now.  If the serve touches the net and goes over, it is in play.  The high school, the college, and USAV rules all allow the serve to touch the net.  And it should be that way.  If the ball is in play on every other contact, why should the serve be different?

If the ball hits the line, it is in.

  8. It can't touch the net on a serve but it can touch the line when u serve it is still considered in

Once the ball has gone over the net it is llegal and if go out if bounderies then it is out and it is the other teams ball

  9. Depends what rules you play if you play rally scoring you can hit the net as long as it goes over side out scoring no you cant hit the net and as long as it touches a line its in

  10. You are able to hit the net on a serve as long as it goes onto their side.  Trust me i know i have gotten tons of aces of serves that hit the net and just fell over.  And if the ball hits the line it is also considered in.  I have also gotten aces and kills off of that.

  11. it CAN touch the net and if it lands on the line its considered in and playable so make sure you go to the line and straddle it

  12. it can touch the net as long as it goes over...and as long as the ball is touching any part of the line it is considered in

  13. if the ball goes over, its ok. its up to the ref if its out or not. some can be nice, others... well... really jerks

  14. yes , as long as it goes over it's ok

  15. its considered an out

  16. Yes it can. I am a down official had have seen so many aces come from just hitting the net and falling over. Some people think its not OK because 2 years ago it wasn't but then all the associations changed their rules to allow the ball to hit the net

  17. This is a tricky question because it depends on what team you play for. Different leagues play different rules. The league I play in your serve can hit the net as long as it goes over the net if it doesn't its an out.

  18. In volleyball as long as the ball goes over the net and  it is in bounds then is legal...At any time if the ball touches the line it is in even on a serve

    hope this helped

    have a great day : )

  19. When the ball hits the net but still goes over it is still in and when the ball hits the line it is also considered in

  20. yes it can. its called a "let serve." and yes, anytime the ball touches line, its good, like tennis and badmitton. dont believe anything else. watch some volleyball on tv and you'll see yourself. =] it can touch anywhere on the line, that's why they say if it looks close to being out, play it.

  21. yeah it can hit the net and go over and if it is in it is legal

  22. yes, as long as it goes over the net, it is legal
