In warhammer 40k what does 1+1 Atack mean in the codex? My hormagaunts say 1+1 Attack.

  2. Unsurprisingly, it means that they have two Attacks.

    The reason for this terminology, though, is because they have Scything Talons on two arms.  This means that they count as having an extra close combat weapon, but this extra attack is included in their profile (as the "+1").  This is important for two reasons: first, it means that the player doesn't mistakenly ascribe them a *third* attack due to their Scything Talons.  But secondly, it also means that - if they encounter an opponent with a special rule that negates the additional attack granted by a second close combat weapon - they will be reduced to their "basic" 1 Attack.
