  1. set is the person who goes in the middle of the cage at about the 2 meter marker and fights to get postion where they are facing the ball on the outside with the guard on their back...then if the opposing defense is pressing out, the set can get the ball from a wet pass about an arms lenght distance apart. the point is the position on the very top of the semi-circular formation that normally surrounds a set, they are usually the guard on defense


  2. set is in front and center of the cage. it is usually a very aggressive position because if the ball gets to the set, it is usually a automatic goal.

    point is at the top of the outer semi-circle. it is a way less aggressive position.
